Cure For Hair Loss

Hair Loss

Hair loss, the curse of many men and surprisingly an ever-increasing number of women, is still largely a medical enigma the true cause of which has still to be established. And in fact there may not be a root cause to hair loss, but rather, hair loss in men and women can be caused by a number of factors each playing their part. For any hair loss treatment to be effective these possible causes such as nutritional deficiencies, inflammation and infection of the scalp itself, hormonal imbalances, environmental factors and certain disease states all need to be considered in deciding what is precisely the best hair loss treatment solution.
A fundamental principal in natural hair loss treatment is that the same foods that are good for your health, are good for your hair. Although hair loss can be caused by many other variables, lack of proper nutrition will cause hair loss in most people. Foods that are high in protein, low in carbohydrates, and have reduced fat content can help in maintaining healthier hair and preventing hair loss. For example, essential fatty acids, found in spinach, walnuts, soy, tuna, sardines, sunflower seeds and canola oil, are important dietary essentials useful in keeping hair healthy. The omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids contain anti-inflammatory properties that are useful in maintaining healthy hair. Insufficient levels of these essential fatty acids could lead to quicker hair loss.

Is there a cure for hair loss?

Hair Loss

Hair loss and baldness are not always inevitable. Many people who suffer from hairloss are usually so intent on finding a solution that they will try almost anything. The good news is that in todays world there are many options available. Unfortunately there are also many so called hair loss treatments and hair loss remedies that do not work. See Hair Loss Treatment for further details about hair loss treatments available that do work.

It is a common assumption that it is only men who suffer from hair loss, but nothing could be further from the truth. Female hair loss is in fact very common. Like male hair loss and male pattern baldness, a significant number of women suffer from natural hair loss or hair thinning as they get older.

Many people think that the only way to treat hair loss is from the outside, by using a chemical treatment, shampoo or other topical treatment. These ways can work for you, but in recent medical studies the main cause of hair loss, at least 95% of the time, is either genetic and or hormonal.

Some of the following are major causes of hair loss and baldness:

Genetics Poor diet; fried and fatty foods, lack of fruits or green vegetables, and dehydration Hormone imbalances Improper hair care, including excessive use of chemicals and blow-drying Health concerns such as major disease, fungal infections and thyroid problems Reaction to medications used to treat cancer, diabetes, birth control and  anti-depressants

While the majority of all excessive hair loss is generic, there are specific vitamins, minerals and herbs that can help block the hormonal chemicals that are responsible for hair thinning and hair loss. The hair follicles beneath your scalp get all the nutrients they need to promote new healthy hair growth.

Learn To Avoid Consumer Fraud In the Hair Loss Industry

As with any service industry, the order of the day in the hair loss industry is “Buyer beware!”

That title got you, didn’t it? If you wish you could just wave a magic wand and get your hair back, read on to protect yourself from consumer fraud in the hair loss industry.

When your hair loss becomes apparent to you, it can suddenly become the focus of your life. You can feel desperate for any kind of cure or promise that will grow your hair back. But that’s not a realistic expectation, is it? When Roy Baxter, a 37-year-old businessman, began to notice the bald spot on the back of his head, it was almost too late. His scalp was showing through, and his hair had apparently been thinning for several years before he was aware of it. After going to the doctor, he learned that his male pattern baldness was permanent and progressive and that once the follicles were dead, they couldn’t be brought back to life. And that’s the truth Roy had to face.

While browsing around online, Roy found lots of “cures” and solutions to his hair loss, but he didn’t know which ones were proven treatments and which ones were not. So, how do you tell the difference? And how does the “un-approved” hair loss treatment industry make its billions of dollars each year? Well, millions of Americans experiencing hair loss are absolutely desperate for a cure, despite the facts. And many hair-loss-”cure” Web sites and products seem plausible — so, like Roy, you might be tempted to click the order button. But there are many ways to tell the real products from the fakes if you know where to look.
